Background
Ramsey Bergeron began DJing/emceeing in Memphis, TN in 1998. When he was not performing weddings at venues such as the Peabody Hotel or emceeing events at the casinos in Tunica, MS, he was performing in nightclubs in the world-famous Beale Street music district alongside acts such as Vanilla Ice and Paul Oakenfold. After traveling the country DJing in venues from New York to North Carolina, Ramsey relocated to Arizona in 2006. Since moving to Arizona he has focused his experience of various music formats and styles of events on weddings and corporate events, functioning not only as a DJ and emcee but also assists as a planner and "day of" coordinator. He has a rare blend of professionalism and party experience with over 1,000 private events he has personally hosted.
My Philosophy/What Makes Me Different

As of 2020, I have committed to perform for no more than 5 weddings a year.
In late 2019, I realized what was wrong with the wedding industry:
There was no personal connection. For decades, I would do up to 3 weddings a weekend, trying to accommodate as many couples as possible. It was hard to deliver the quality that I had strived so hard to provide as well as a truly customized experience for every single event. Most DJs try to fill their schedules with as many weddings as possible. I would rather personally meet every couple to see if its a perfect fit for us and commit to giving you an unforgettable experience.
Over 2 decades of DJ & event hosting experience
With over 20 years of experience, I have handled weddings and events of all ages and sizes. I'm not a college kid with a laptop who has no experience designing timelines., and I'm not in my 60s or 70s trying to relate to a younger crowd!
No substitutions or lackeys
Many other DJ companies will have you speak with the owner or secretary over the phone and then assign you a DJ you may not even meet before your wedding day. Some will even insist their DJ will suit you perfectly but just assigns you whomever they happen to have open on that night. With Ramsey the Great DJ Productions, I will be your full DJ and emcee for your event.
So much more than music
Anyone can play music. We feel what separates a good DJ from a great DJ is knowing how to read the energy of the room and keep your event flowing. We also insist on being a part of your timeline planning as well since we will usually be the one (alongside your coordinator if you have one) to ensure the timing of your wedding and reception. Even if you have an outside wedding planner help design your evening, the DJ is ultimately responsible for its execution on the day of your event. Our mission is for you to sit back, relax and enjoy your night while we handle the logistics for you. Ten years from now, you or your guests may not remember the appetizers or the flowers, but we will make sure everyone remembers the energy and the great time they had.

Having performed at over 50 local wedding venues and worked with hundreds of vendors, I will work seamlessly with your photographer, venue, officiant, and others to make sure we are a unified team to make sure your wedding vision is achieved.
